Tests ability to read and understand simple texts and write short messages
Duration: About 30 minutes (including 8 minutes to transfer answers)

A2 Key is designed to be achievable and manageable for basic English users. The entire exam takes approximately 2 hours, making it an excellent first Cambridge qualification without being overwhelming.
A2 Key uses the Cambridge English Scale, which shows your exact level of achievement. Scores are reported for each skill (Reading, Writing, Listening, Speaking) and overall.

You demonstrated A1 level ability but didn't reach A2. Unfortunately, no certificate is issued, but you've made important progress. Consider preparing more before retaking the exam.
